Radio Appearences:
During the month of November 1999, Gary Lockwood appeared as a special guest on radio station KFJC 89.7 FM's Thoughtline at Foothill College in Los Altos Hills, California. The show was designed to promote the San Mateo Library's 2001: A Space Odyssey collectibles exhibit. The program was not only broadcast in the San Francisco Bay Area but also on the Internet at www.kfjc.org.
Thoughtline is a community talk show on colorful topics, and the 2001 was no exception. The show featured exhibit coordinator Dennis Gonzales and Dr. David Stork, editor of "HAL's Legacy, 2001's Computer as Dream and Reality." The show was full 60 minutes of interesting scientific facts, information, and memorable discussions about 2001 director Stanley Kubrick. As always, Mr. Lockwood provided some interesting discussion about his experience on the set of 2001 and Stanley Kubrick.
We'll keep you informed on Mr. Lockwood's next visit on the air, Internet, city and country. In the meantime, download the sound wavs of the show.
